jungle is started at lvl 1 and plays by either ganking the lanes or helping push. its a more lucrative thing.

Generally one player on a team begins as a jungler if he has inherent summons or tanking capabilities which allow him to do so. This is not necessarily because it is faster exp or gold for that personal player, but because it allows another player (preferably the team carry) to solo a lane and gain extra exp. Also, once you get enough gear jungles are farmed by carries because they are easy gold.
