I think a big reason for making Starcraft region locked is that it's competitive and having serious lag makes it a big problem. But, I guess if you're going to be playing people outside of your region, you've got to be willing to take that risk anyway.

Hi guys great show! I just wanted to say I think Jesse was totally right about Leah secretly containing Diablo. In the black soul stone cinematic Azmodan says "One by one (our) brethren fell into your trap" and near the end says, " Azmodan shall be the prime evil! " as if instead of Diablo.

Just something I thought of at around the 30 or 35 minute mark, any chance of a "Spoiler" graphic being displayed during theories/spoilers? I was listening, trying to avoid spoiler-y things and the like, but its hard to judge when they're done being talked about.... without listening to potential spoilers. Thankfully my brother has no idea what in the hell is being talked about but can identify a topic change, so spoilers averted... This time.

Hey Force, I haven't got the time to hear all of the podcast, but there are certain parts, that I would very much like to hear; So the idea, which I got, was that you could write when the different parts started in the description. For example: Unbeatable inferno mode: 44:23 Auction house: 12:34 Introduction: 00:00 ETC. Love the vids, keep it up. Cheers

Battle.net Balance can only be redeemed for certain products and services that are available to you on the Service, which includes the Diablo III Real Money Auction Houses. Battle.net Balance can be acquired, used and redeemed on the Service in a variety of ways as determined by Blizzard. Regardless of how it is acquired, Battle.net Balance is non-transferable to another person or Account, has no cash value, does not accrue interest and, unless otherwise required by law or permitted by this Agreement, is not redeemable or refundable for any sum of money or monetary value from Blizzard at any time. Battle.net Balance is not a deposit account.

The way I understand it, those statements apply to the Battle.Net account balance, however, when selling an item, you are able to choose whether the cash is sent to Battle.Net OR Paypal. If you choose Paypal, then the Battle.Net ToS do not apply, since Paypal isnt Battle.Net. This is likely why they said "You pick where it goes, and you stick with that choice. ie; No moving cash from Battle.Net to Paypal after the fact."

Hm maybe i'm wrong... are you sure? sounds unbelievable to me that they do this. If this is true, there will certainly be few crazy guys who try to do this as a "job" and I think it is wrong from blizz to support this ...

They already announced Paypal as a "partner" of sorts for the RMAH. They also stated that when you sell an item, it will be sent to Paypal OR Battle.Net with Paypal having a transfer fee(+listing, etc fees), Battle.Net not having that transfer fee, just the listing, etc fees and that when you choose Paypal or Battle.Net per item, that "cash" will be locked into that choice. I do believe that the ToS applies solely to the "cash" accrued on the Battle.Net account balance, otherwise it would be an odd thing to have the option to "cash out" items to Paypal.

Thanks god you spoke about monk not using the weapons. They could say "After years of training monks...blablabla...the monk can absorb the power of the weapon only by having near his body and transfer the power to his fists...blablabla" with an awesome cinematic...BUM! Problem solved. Aps, and left the weapons ALWAYS on your back or by the sides.

Love listening to you guys. The personality differences are funny and keeps things interesting. Force mentioned the beginning of the game being the same to skelly king. Don't think so. I think the skelly king will be later in act one as you guys mentioned in an earlier cast. I hope Blizzard has kept some secrets safe about the game...like act 3 or 4 being flippin enormous or something. Hope the expansion is already close to done!

hey Force, sorry if this question has been asked before and answered but can I start off my first character on Inferno difficulty? if so, who do you think I should use first because i haven't had the time to try out the characters in the beta. By the way, keep up the good work!

By the way, keep up the good work!" No Goojus. Inferno is the last and 4th level of difficulty! To reach Inferno difficulty you must first beat the game in Normal,Nightmare and Hell difficulty.

Quick question. There will obviously be a rush to see what happens in the story line of Diablo 3 when it comes out and people will want to be the first. But wont people be able to (when they install the disc) go into all the cinematic's and just watch them off the disc rather than play through the first difficulty? Or people who have already pre downloaded the game be able to view the cinematic's before the game is out?. Or is all the cinematic's being stored on the battle net server's so to speak??

It is weird that you totally miss the aspect of surveillance when talking about mandatory online gaming. In academia as well as in law enforcement and politics this is a hot topic, and it`s pretty easy to find literature discussing how surveillance in games and other popular culture can be introduced. Shouldn`t be too hard really, considering most people seem totally oblivious to it. This paper: http://www.surveillance-and-society.org/Articles3%282%29/entertainment.pdf, talks about how "fun" surveillance is, and why it therefore fits nicely with gaming, and how to make snooping "unobtrusive". Epic stuff... Not saying that this is Blizzard`s intention, but I would imagine there is pressure on the entire industry to work toward this, to satisfy paranoid politicians. In fact, demanding offline Diablo 3 probably means you`re connected to Al Qaida, in their weird world.
