As good as everyone keeps telling me idra is,mice seen him prematurely quit more games than I've seen him win, it's to the point that I expect him to not lose but blow up at some point and throw a fit. He always makes me laugh.

I feel idra's pain as when you cannot contain Protoss and youve invested in aling army its a terrible sight to see multiple colossi. Anyone got a nice answer to how to deal with this other than expos and corrupters?

Personally, I think Spanishiwa is about twice as good as Idra is, despite Idra`s impressive macro play. Spanishiwa would not have quit at this point, but made a transition into air to counter colossi, possibly with ultras to deal with the ground forces. What bugs me with Idra is that he quits, even when Zerg can transition to anything they need in about ten seconds, at least as long as the spire is up, and greater spire gets researched before you actually need it. I think he seems comfortable with low tech, zergling/baneling/overlord armies, but not with anything else.Every time he goes to tier two he fails, and I have hardly seen him use a tier three unit yet.

True that. I think Idra is the most emotional pro player out there. He has an impressive macro play but if he could control himself, he'd be hell of a lot better.

Never have liked Idra at all, never got the whole 'asshole' mentality and how some people thought it was cool. Oh yea he could beat my ass in a 1v1 all day long, but I just feel he's a bad player all around. Hell I watched a (I think) 3 round set and he lost, getting mad because every game he would go for a quick 3rd and then just get attacked and lose.
