Reason for Beta: Needed stress test as it has shown. If at midnight on release these problems happened people would be incredibly furious. If there is a 250$ ceiling, people will sell the best items for gold. Then will sell the gold for 250$ increments.

Normal->Magic->Rare->Legendary. I think the best of the best items will be perfectly rolled Rare's, then legendarys, then average rares etc.

hy guy ! i have a problem :( my spec is: Athlon 3500+, 2GB RAM 9800, GT 1GB / 256 bit, and i cant instal the bata :( says "Below minimum specification" and minim spec is: Intel Pentium® D 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4400+ NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro or better 1 GB RAM (XP), 1.5 GB (Vista/7) 2 GB RAM 12 GB available HD space. i need a new procesor ? and why they are put that in instal game???:((( ty and HF

You can buy an authenticator from Blizzard instead of downloading the smartphone app. I think they are about 10$.

Last I checked key chain Authenticators were $6.50. Good for people who don't have a smartphone, or don't trust their phone, or just want the physical device. Just... don't lose it.

I think that the open beta is not available for Korea due to RMAH (even if you can not use real real money there in beta) which should not be available for Korea region...

Are that two patches applied? I had some small updates, but my characters were not wiped and I do not see my real ID Friends I have added in WoW...or do I have to just add them again and will see them even when they are in other game?

Just some information I thought was missing from the multi-boxing portion of this video. First, the terms of service never specifically say multi-boxing is not allowed. They only state for sure that automation, data mining, and a few other things aren't allowed. The only thing in the ToS that applies to multi-boxing is "unauthorized third party applications", but since Blizzard does not maintain a list of what is an is not authorize and since everything on your computer other then Diablo III is third party software you can't know for sure what you are using alongside D3 is authorized or not. Things like Ventrilo and Xfire are third party apps and do modify the game experience, but it would be silly for people to think they are unauthorized third party apps because they don't break any of the automation (botting) or data-mining rules. The thing is most boxing software behaves the same way as other third party apps. They don't automate or data mine. So by using the same standard for evaluation as you use with other programs they seem to pass the test for being allowed. For one, that would anger their customer's that are against it. Secondly, the ToS is written in generic and broad legalese to leave sole discretion to Blizzard on a case-by-case basis. They can't possibly say using third party apps to multibox is allowed because they can't possibly keep track of every possible software solution to make sure they don't break the rules of what is and is not allowed. It is better for them to just remain neutral while having their ToS provide a set of guidelines of what your software is not allowed to do (automate and datam-mine etc) and then just evaulate each case as it comes up. They will probably never come straight out and say they allow multi-boxing, but given their past track record with WoW and the general acceptance of the practice in nearly every MMO on the market today it isn't likely they will ban users for boxing in and of itself. Now if you bot, dupe, or exploit some way in addition to playing multiple characters at once you may have something to worry about.

Now Blizz wants me to get a D3 authenticator in order to hold a Blizz Buck balance greater than $100, sure no problem, I think its a smart idea. I don't have an iPhone so I'm not gtting the app. I could get the Auth. at the blizz store still. Is that Authenticator going to be available for purchase with "blizz bucks"? Also on the matter of no cash withdrawls from your "Blizz Bucks" account, I think you're going to see alot of people carrying a low BB Balance for things like auction fees while everything they make in profit is going to sent off to PayPal. If you want more cash in your BB Account you're just going to load it up from PayPal. AH > PayPal > BB Account (as needed) Why hold a balance in an account that you can only spend at one online store? IMHO people are going to be selling more in the GAH and selling lump sums of gold in $50, $100, $250 denominations as you guys suggested.

The obvious (and stated) reason for open beta is stress testing. With the implementation of the RMAH Diablo 3, no one wants to be the one left behind right in the beginning. Can you imagine the insuing riots if servers crashed on a national level come the 15th? I might even make the short drive down to Irvine and start throwing bricks through Blizzard's office windows. I think this open beta is a smart move from the Diablo crew, making sure that the product they will soon put out to the world will be as polished as possible. On another topic, I have to say I really like that Blizzard is releasing some gameplay videos of later skills that we haven't seen up until now. At first I thought the hype site was pretty lame, but I was stoked to see some new content.

Another comment guys, I usually love the podcasts.. but hearing "I don't know" as an answer to Force's valid questions over and over makes me want to slap the guests in the face. Also, "Meh..." should not be an acceptable answer for a podcast, no matter how laid back the setup is (I'm listening to hear opinions).
